Pardon?

I am not an advocate of the Death Penalty. Except for everyone whom I think deserves it. And that's kind of why. What I think shouldn't be the systematic criteria for killing people.


I also am not a huge fan of Government efficiency. Which is why I find it so contradictory that in the US, the poster child for limited Government intervention in areas such as social services, health etc, that they are confident it is the right mechanism to impose the ultimate sanction in killing you.


Anyway, back to the here and now. Their outgoing President Biden has got into the habit of issuing pardons (a thing that not even our King here in the UK can do anymore) for pretty much every unsavoury character in the country - including his own son.


How’d that come about?
