Silent Night

Was at the Christmas Carols in the Royal Albert Hall yesterday, listening to a reworked version of possibly the most beautiful of the Season's hymns. Meanwhile, Loki my 3 yo was running around like a mad thing declaring 'when is this finished Daddy?' and generally appreciating it as much as a cow enjoys BBC 4 documentaries.

Got me thinking about the words ... and realising it's all a great big lie.
