As I've mentioned before, my partner goes out a lot more than I do. She's clearly a terrible mother as a result. But putting all that aside, she therefore faces greater levels of temptation than I do when it comes to the diet. Somehow she manages to resist the draw of illicit goodies in the restaurants and bars she goes to.
I have a theory it's to do with the company she keeps.
Iulia is naturally able to get people to open up. Me, on the other hand, I'm not really very interested in other people. If they're successful, I just feel jealous, and if they're not, then usually they spend a lot of time complaining about that and I genuinely don't care.
I really am often more engaged by the quality of the chips I'm sharing with them than the person themselves.
Guess that's why I spend more time at home with the baby. And our fridge.
