Day Three Hundred and Nine - digital transformation

For quite a while in the consultancy world, the concept of digital transformation took hold and became popular as a phrase. Personally, I was always uncomfortable with it, having lived in the largely pre-digital age, as in, before digital as a word referred to anything other than something to do with your digits - or fingers.

And in my case, digital transformation took place for me when my prostate doctor did his work and found out I'd joined the cancer club.

Luckily my cancer is modelled in my own image - it's incredibly lazy. It's just sitting around in my prostate doing not very much, probably thinking 'maybe next week, but just let me enjoy the telly. I'm tired'. I don't know if they have a category called 'procrastination cancer' but that seems to be mine.

My partner, who is usually freaked out by a gust of wind in case our son catches hypothermia and dies on the spot, well... even she says 'you don't have cancer!' dismissively. When I actually do - it's just relaxed about the whole business.

And rubbish for my diet.
