Day Three Hundred and Thirty Four - tally hoo

As parents we invest a huge amount of time and money in giving what we think is the best available resources to our children, all with the hope of enabling them to prosper in later life as rounded, successful and happy individuals.

Trouble is, what we think is the best available may in truth be a rocky road to disaster...

The only word that's true in this cartoon that has come from Loki's mouth is the word 'Hungry!'. Repeatedly.

The conversation usually goes something like this 'Hungry!' followed by us 'What would you like to eat?'. Then 'I don't know but I'm hungry', to which we reply 'what about this, or this, or this?'. 'No. But I'm hungry. My tummy wants something to eat.'

He says this about 6 times a day, and every single time you go on a quest to solve the problem that can last longer than the search for the Holy Grail.

Having a 3 year old is like being on a Community Service order where there is no one monitoring whether the punishment fits the crime or not.
