Today I fulfilled a lifelong ambition I didn't know I had. By introducing Monty Python's infamous self-destructive diner Monsieur Creosote from their film 'The Meaning of Life' to the tale about my younger son's gastric bug, I've reached a moment of small joy and mental ascendency. Who knew that such a revolting character could give such pleasure.
But he sums up quite well the experience we've been going through lately.
I'm thinking of getting a tee-shirt done that simply has the line 'it's quite hard to make durable friendships when you're a toxic parasite'. Feels like it has something of the universal about it.
