One Hundred and Sixty One - protection

Many years ago I had an idea of writing a book about the probability of meeting someone with a collection of conditions. Say you were in a room with 10 strangers, what's the probability that one of them will have a morbid fear of lifts, for example? Or had a grandparent who was a prominent author in the realm of online pornography? Or has committed a crime that would make old ladies blush?

So I get interested in headline statistics that are novel because I mentally add them to my backlog of people to fit in my imaginary room...

It sucks to be a woman. And the UK is supposedly one of the more advanced countries to be one in.

On the flipside, being a guy is the magic ticket. Woohoo.
