One Hundred and Twenty Two - stand-up gig

Updated: May 1

Iu and I went to a stand-up gig by the comedian Mike Capozzola called 'Evil Cyborg Sea Monsters' in a pub in Camden. A multi-media show, Mike being both a comedian and a cartoonist, there were quite a few things in common with what I'm doing. Apart from the fact I don't do stand-up. Which just leaves the cartooning. So one thing in common then. That's all.

Anyway, it got me thinking...

There is genuinely no time I would ever like to return to except one. And that's the day I was in Las Vegas in 2003 when the Elvis Museum still existed and there in the gift shop on the way out was a framed fully extended lime green track suit that Elvis had worn after one of his gigs. It was going for $7,000. And I didn't take it.

It's the only regret of my life.
