At the end of The Annunciation post, we had a 'what next?' moment. This is it. Taken directly from Matthew, Chapter 1, verses 18-24.

I must admit, despite the name Immanuel cropping up over and over again in different hymns during my obligatory visits to Chapel back in my school days, I never really associated it with Christ.
I guess being a kid relatively contemporary to the release of the soft porn movie 'Emmanuelle', well, that was a stronger association in my mind for reasons I can't possibly imagine.
Anyhow, it took all my powers of self-control not to add an obscure reference to that film in the strip. A micro version of a miracle.
