Day One Hundred and Two - spike ball

I still can't quite believe that I've lost the amount of weight I have. It doesn't really feel like I've been dieting that hard (and some may say I haven't) - but I have nearly got to 2/5 of my target. Except today of course, the scales showed me I've gone backwards by 1/2 a kilo.

Even so, I'm still less heavy by a load since Christmas, and don't feel that guilty about a small blemish.

What this means is that exercise is back on the cards. I read somewhere that muscle is really important as you get older because you lose it with increasing rapidity once you turn 50. I'm not convinced I have a lot to lose. I recall during my last full medical about a decade ago being told by the doctor I had one of the weakest grips he'd ever seen.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. I'm always asking Iu to open lids for me.

But Finn's spike ball game is good because you don't notice you're exercising until you're knackered. Which at the moment is about after 5 minutes. Still, little steps. Little muscley ones.

Remember your father had a really strange twitchy serve at tennis.

I felt I was exercising after 2 mins of Spike ball. And I am not even sure I was really playing it 😥
