They say that a hungry man will eat his own family if it comes down to it. Hunger is what sends societies into meltdown. The Roman Emperors went into a panic if they didn't have any grain to feed the people.
I know how they feel. Every father does, even the ones who aren't dieting.
The tipping point for some is not so far away as for others.
Not looking forward to the weigh-in tomorrow. Last night we were at a vegan restaurant and something in my brain said 'vegan beer? Must be lower calories than normal beer'. So I drank four of them. Then got happy and drank another four of my own non-vegan beers at home.
Tomorrow could be a sad day.
Does vegan restaurants (this one was really yummi) make us feel a bit virtuous?
