Day Thirty Seven - a pause

Been a bit of a blip these last couple of days in the run up to my birthday. To say I've been dieting would be a stretch. A stretch like my trousers are going to have to do on Monday morning.

Which makes my comments below about photography even more on point.

The problem is I'm putting off my 6 month check up for my prostate cancer because I want to be skinnier than I am to impress the doctor. This is the way my brain works. I am less threatened by the spread of an aggressive killer disease than the look of derision on the doctor's face when he sees I'm not as beautiful as I promised.

Self image eh? It's a killer.
