I kind of understand why Robert Smith basically only wears black. It's slimming. And when you've got not a lot else going for you physically, every little bit helps.
Today Loki had the runs and so we couldn't send him to Nursery, nor could we get the nanny to look after him, so I had to take the day off while Iulia worked manically with her client. I realised something was up when Loki started farting like a trooper around 10am. He then wanted to go outside to the playground in 2 or 3 degree temperatures, showing no signs of illness whatsoever. It's ironic then that this piece is about the Cure because it appears Loki had no need of one.
There aren't many songs about demanding children in Robert Smith's catalogue. Or maybe the whole lot are actually about one demanding child in particular. Him.
In spite of it all, they’ve got some great songs. . .
