Iulia made a very good point today. Too often on this diet we treat the week like we would a project at work. Essentially delay until the last minute then try to make up for all the stuff we should have done during the week on the last day.
Except when it comes to dieting, it doesn't work like that....
You can't diet like crazy on the last day before the weigh-in to recover the losses you banked earlier in the week.
Which is an almighty shame because if it did work that way, we'd be excellent dieters. It's in our make up - we're last minute wonders who can pull rabbits out of the hat with only seconds to spare.
We can't, however, pull crisps and cornetto's out of our tummies and fat cells in 24 hours. Which kind of sucks.
